Roofdor’s offer thermal insulation against condensation and heat loss as the lid is filled with 25mm CFC and HCFC free insulation with a U-Value of 0.45 W/m2 to BS3958: Part 5: 1986 and sound reduction of
45db Rw measured in accordance with ISO 140-3: 1995.

Heavy duty aluminium hinges supports the lid which features integral wrap over edge and neoprene seals fitted complete with safety hold open stay to prevent against accidental closure.

Roofdor / SV lids are held closed by an Electromagnetic Lock which works in tandem with the instant gas spring opening and designed for wiring into the fire alarm system with manual closing as standard.

Roofdor / NV lids are also held closed can be used as Natural Ventilation Hatches wired into a control box with various opening controls and optional battery backup unit.

Roofdor / E and P access hatches are constructed generally as the above hatches and designed with weatherproofing in mind, complete with heavy duty aluminium hinges and neoprene seals fitted.

Roofdor / E hatches are fitted with an electrical actuator(s) that works in tandem with the gas springs and designed for wiring into a control box to be opened and closed via various control options.

Roofdor / P hatches are fitted with a Pneumatic Cylinder(s) designed for wiring into a control box to be opened and closed via various control options.
