/ S access hatches are designed with weatherproofing
in mind and are available Non Fire Rated, One,
Two or Three Hour Fire Resistance for integrity
to BS476: Parts 21 and 22: 1987.
Comprising double skinned insulated aluminium
lid construction with standard 200mm upstand.
Roofdor’s are fitted with gas spring
assisted opening and safety hold open stay
as standard.
Standard Roofdor’s offer thermal insulation
against condensation and heat loss as the
lid is filled with 25mm CFC and HCFC free
insulation with a U-Value of 0.45 W/m2 to
BS3958: Part 5: 1986 and sound reduction
of
45db Rw measured in accordance with ISO 140-3:
1995.
Heavy duty aluminium hinges supports the
lid which features integral wrap over edge
and neoprene seals ensuring a full weather
proof protection.
Roofdor lids are held close by the use of
a stainless steel cab lock fitted which can
only be opened from the inside (unless provisions
are made otherwise)
Roofdor products are manufactured to suit
customer requirements and are available as
Single or Double leaf doors.
