Circledor Ceiling access panels are the non fire rated Circular range of our Zintec steel door access panels

Circledor access panels are designed for use in ceiling applications only where access to service areas is required.

The circular panel can compliment other specific ceiling features where square panels may not blend in with the complete ceiling design.

The Circledor is manufactured in Zintec Steel and comprise a 1.0mm thick Zintec removable door supported in a 1.0mm thick Zintec frame surround. Manufactured with either a 30mm wide picture frame surround giving an architrave finished appearance or a beaded frame for taping & jointing on site to conceal the frame

Circledor frames are fitted with 3No 6mm diameter studs mounted at 120 degree pitch centres allowing the door to be engaged and released using a anti-clockwise / clockwise motion.

Access Panels are finished polyester powder coated RAL 9010 with a textured finish to allow for painting on site where required.        

Other RAL colours are available upon request at an extra cost.

Applications

 

 

Forming Apertures

After installation of the ceiling M/F suspension system but before dry lining commences the location of the required access points should be determined. Span suitable light gauge steel stringers between the suspension system main runners as illustrated, spaced to complement the diameter of panel to be installed. Rivert stringers to the main runners

Fixing

1) Remove door as described in Operation.
2) Offer frame into the aperture formed at the desired points.
3) Self tap screw top flange of the frame to the stringers where they intersect.
4) Tighten the fixings to ensure the frame fits flush with the dry lining face.
5) Insert door into the frame as described in Operation.

Operation

Opening:
1) Push firmly on the door face and apply a clockwise force of which will release the door from the frame(s) located studs.
2) Support the weight of the door as it is released from the frame.

Closing:
1) This can be done by simply reversing the above procedure.
